Before you begin something new, an NLP performance coach will work with you to access that part of your nervous system that generates new ideas, by eliciting your Creativity Strategy . So what does this mean in practice? Imagine that you are starting a new project and you're looking for inspiration in ways that lead to doing things differently. Start by drawing a symbol of your choosing to represent your project in the centre of a large sheet of paper, with branches extending from it: On each of the branches write one of the headings : Vision,Identity.Values, Beliefs, Skills/Capabilities, Behaviours, Environment, Challenges,Ideas. Draw smaller branches extending from each branch then gather information by asking yourself and your team these questions to fill in each smaller branch: Why are we doing this project (what is our client's vision)? Who are we (what is our role) in the project team? What is important to our client in this project? How do we make it possible for us to succeed in this project? What can we do and what are our strengths and weaknesses? When do we want to complete this project (outcomes)? Where do we want to achieve the project outcomes? What stops us from achieving our project outcomes (challenges)? How do we have fun with these ideas
