Moving Towards Success
Once you have decided that you wish to move towards success an NLP Performance Coach will work with you to step out of your "comfort zone" (where you are NOW) and into your "stretch zone" (where you want to be).
So what does this mean in practice?
First ask yourself "What do I know about my comfort zone?"
Make an image of yourself in your "comfort zone" with a sound track and become curious as you explore it.
Next make an image of yourself in your "stretch zone" with a sound track and start to make comparisons between your "comfort zone" and your "stretch zone".
Start with the visual element. Ask yourself "Which one is brighter, which one is more colourful, which one has the most movement, which one has more depth, which one is more intense"
Proceed with the sound element.Ask yourself "Which one is louder, which one is more rythymic, which one has the best tonal qualities, which one is more intense".
Now for the body sensations.Ask yourself "Which one feels the best, which one is whole body, which one has the faster heart rate, which one is lightest, which one is the most intense".
Now you can adjust the elements of the "comfort zone" to make it silly, by making the images smaller , making the sounds into cartoon character voices and reducing the intensity of the feelings for example and adjust the elements of the "stretch zone" to make it more entertaining,fun and compelling and notice how much easier it becomes to enjoy the journey towards where you want to be
